While visiting the resident animals at the Lewis Oliver Farm, its' a good idea to look up and all around as there is more to our 3-acre plot of land than what first meets the eye! Bat boxes, blue-bird boxes, owl boxes, our centuries-old barn rafters, and bee-houses are just a few of the man-made structures that you will see and which attract and provide homes to a host of native wild-life species who's pest-insect eating habits and pollination abilities help to further beautify and improve our surroundings, and the environment as a whole. |
